Day 1: Rome | Regent | Breakfast
Upon your arrival Rome, you will be met by our representative and transfer to your Hotel.Overnight in Rome.
Day 2: Rome | B & B Florence | Breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel. Your day in Rome starts with a visit to the Vatican Museums and St. Peter’s Basilica. During the afternoon enjoy the Barocca tour: you'll see the famous Trevi Fountain, the lavish Baroque showpiece where people flock to throw coins into the water - an action which is said to ensure that you'll return to the city again one day. In the evening transfer to Florence. Overnight in Florence
Day 3: Florence - Pisa - Venice | Palladio | Breakfast
Breakfast and check out from your hotel. Florence, the birthplace of the Italian Renaissance and home to some fabulous architecture and fine art. To begin the day by you’ll enjoy a guided walk around Florence’s many highlights, including the Ponte Vecchio over the Arno, the Piazza del Duomo and Campanile Tower. You’ll pass the Uffizi Gallery, which contains one of the most notable art collections in Florence. You’ll have free time to see the city further, to shop or to watch the world go by from an alfresco cafe, before travelling on to your next destination, Pisa. Here, be sure to have your camera ready to get a shot of the iconic Leaning Tower, the famous bell tower in the ‘Square of Miracles’, which also contains the centuries-old Cathedral and Baptistery. Independent lunch. Then Transfer to Venice.Overnight in Venice.
Day 4: Venice - Verona - Milan | Palladio | Breakfast
Breakfast and check out from your hotel. Transfer to Tronchetto and take the boat to reach St. Mark’ square. Spend the morning in the company of a knowledgeable local guide as you explore Venice, the most magical of cities. Walking tour in the city center and visit inside the St. Mark’s Basilica.
From Venice, it’s a short journey to Verona, home to some of Italy’s finest architecture and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Here you’ll be taken on foot through streets lined with red-roofed buildings, and walk past the ancient Roman arena, which stages outdoor opera performances and music concerts to packed audiences throughout the summer. You’ll also visit the residence of Verona’s most famous characters: Romeo and Juliet. Find Juliet’s balcony by following the trail of unanswered love letters posted on the passageway walls. Look for the bronze statue of the famous heroine here too – a classic photo opportunity. After some free time, you’ll head to Milan.
Afternoon transfer to Milan, fashion capital of the world. The orientation tour will introduce you to the city' s iconic sights, including the vast Gothic cathedral (Duomo). You'll also see the planet’s oldest shopping mall, the 19th-century Galleria Vittorio Emanuele II. Overnight in Milan.
Day 5: Milan – Endlberg – Lucerne | Trafo Hotel AG | Breakfast
Today you will head for one of the world's most famous mountain ranges - the Swiss Alps. The first destination is Engelberg the stunning Swiss resort. From here you can opt to board a cable car that takes you to the summit of the impressive Mount Titlis. At the end of the visit you will move to Lucerne. Spend some hours in the city to visit it and after that transfer to your hotel in the area of Zurich. Independent dinner.Overnight in Zurich.
Day 6: Zurich – Rhine Falls – Black Forest – Frankfurt | Leonardo Hotel | Breakfast
The tour begins in Zurich, a city with a reputation as a leading global financial centre. There is chance for a picture stop at the impressive Lake Zurich, before moving on to Rhine Falls, Europe’s biggest waterfall.
Next you’ll cross back into Germany and the Black Forest, the ancient fir-covered mountain range which is famous for its creepy folklore and mythical tales. Here you will see the beautiful lake Titisee, where you can stop at one of the many lakeside cafés to enjoy some of the region’s best Black Forest cherry gateaux. Cuckoo clocks are made in Titisee, making this the ideal place to pick up a few souvenirs from the local shops, and you’ll also get to see a demonstration of how these magical mechanisms work.
Day 7: Frankfurt City tour | Leonardo Hotel | Breakfast
Half day Frankfurt city tour covering iconic sites and remainder of the day at leisure.
Day 8: Frankfurt – Rhine Valley – Luxembourg - Paris | Campanile Bagnolet | Breakfast
After boarding the luxury coach in Frankfurt, sit back and enjoy a scenic journey across Rhine Valley.
You’ll pass through Luxembourg, which is located between Germany and France, Where you will spend the afternoon. After lunch proceed to Paris. Overnight in Paris.
Day 9: Paris | Campanile Bagnolet | Breakfast
Paris is your oyster over the next two days as you enjoy guided tours around one of the world’s most celebrated cities. Your Parisian adventures get off to a spectacular start with a drive along the famous Champs Élysées to the Place de la Concorde, which played such a key part in the French Revolution. You’ll also get to see the iconic Arc de Triomphe here too, the imposing monument that sits near the western end of the avenue and commemorates the fallen of the revolution and Napoleonic wars.
You’ll take in another significant historical building next as you head to L’Hôtel National des Invalides, where Napoleon’s tomb is located. Then it’s on to the most legendary of all Paris’s icons: the Eiffel Tower. Choose to make the optional ascent of the tower for unbeatable views over the city, and a truly memorable experience. Back on ground level you can take a more leisurely cruise along the river Seine, a great sightseeing option that offers views including Notre-Dame Cathedral and Pont Alexandre III.
Finally, you’ll travel on the coach out through the Parisian suburbs to the splendid Palace of Versailles, the vast regal château that was the residence of the royal family until the start of the revolution in 1789. Today the palace is another popular Parisian attraction. This evening, you can enjoy one of our optional Paris evening shows – Lido/ Moulin Rouge or French multi-course dinner.
Day 10: Paris | Campanile Bagnolet | Breakfast
The second day of your Parisian experience begins with a visit to the Louvre, one of the world’s greatest art museums. Here you’ll set your eyes upon some of history’s most famous masterpieces, including the Venus de Milo, Winged Victory of Samothrace (also called Nike of Samothrace), and Leonardo da Vinci’s Mona Lisa. Opt for a guided gallery tour, which will enhance your experience and allow you to browse through hundreds of works in just a few hours.
After an exhilarating morning of walking the gallery corridors, replenish your energy levels with lunch in the museum before heading to the area surrounding the PalaisGarnier, Paris’s opera house. Here the rest of the afternoon is yours to shop at legendary department stores Galeries Lafayette and Printemps sightsee or simply sit and sip.
Day 11 & 12: Amsterdam | New West Inn | Breakfast
Breakfast at the hotel. Start your day with a leisurely trip through the Dutch countryside, where you' ll get to sample at close quarters some of the things that the Netherlands is traditionally famous for: clogs, cheese and windmills. Call in at the hugely popular model town of ZaanseSchans. After that visit the Keukenhof Tulip Garden and then transfer to Amsterdam. Independent lunch
During the afternoon visit a diamond factory, where you' ll see the unique cutting techniques that have been practised here since the 16th century. Walk to one of the city' s grandest areas, Dam Square, where the Royal Palace is located and the Queen' s birthday celebrations take place. Transfer back to your hotel for overnight. Independent dinner.
Day 13: Departure | Breakfast
